1. Writing a vbscript to rename and FTP all the files I download on a daily basis from our DMS to send to our 3rd party vendors because UCS doesn't integrate with a single soul.

2.Pulling out what little bit of hair I have left because Dealer.com's control center won't let you apply pricing rules to inventory based on Model Codes. I guess those guys don't understand that vehicles can have the same trim levels, engines, colors, etc... but different model codes. When you need to strategically reprice 500-600 cars a month, pricing rules really help and you need to have a few more options to determine pricing other than (Days in Inventory, Engine, Engine Size, Stock #, etc...). MODEL CODE, MODEL CODE, MODEL CODE, MODEL CODE, MODEL CODE,

Dealer.com, if you can get this message, please add this field to the control center in the pricing rules section!!!!

Other than that, everything is great! I think I will have a McRib today!!

Rick, can't you do that with Homenet? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that where Dealer.com is getting it's inventory?

For my Toyota store, I'm using DDC for all my exports so in this situation Homenet is not in the picture. I am using Homenet for other purposes but they are getting their data from DDC for that store. Heres an example of my issue:

(BTW- Don't misunderstand or misinterpret this, I'm still a huge fan of DDC. I've just been asking for this for almost a year)

Toyota Tacoma
You can't apply a pricing rule to a 4x2 Tacoma. You can apply a rule by selecting bodystyle, Dbl. Cab, Ext.cab, V6, certain stock #, year, new, used, etc... for that Tacoma, but if you want to apply different rules to 4x2's or 4x4 Tacomas, you can't. You would be able to if you could select by Model Code (hint,hint). Same thing applies to 4x4 or 4x2 Tundras, 7 or 8 passenger Sienna vans, a 3 or 5 door Yaris, 4x2 or 4x4 RAV4, 4x2 or 4x4 Sequoia, Highlander, 4Runner, etc....

You can apply a rule based on trim levels but in Toyotas model lineup only a couple of different models have the actual trim level tied to the model codes. 95% of Toyotas have multiple model codes under the same trim level.

Yes, I remember the model code issue Toyota compliance has with how they prefer their trim's displayed. I didn't know DDC did some of their own inventory processing! Hope they can get something implemented for you soon, that can be a tedious process!
