Hello all,

First of all, I thank every member who had contributed to this forum.

My name is Mar Roble and I have learned a lot from this forum, especially on Marketing and Best Practices.

I have researched everywhere on topics that were closer to what I was trying to accomplish marketing for a sales professional. I sell Lexus in Alexandria, VA. The topic that was closest to what I was looking for was started by Jordan who was interested in turning around a Mitsubishi dealership in 2 to 3 months, but still was not enough, so here I am creating my first post. If there was another topic that covered what I am trying to do, please point it out for me.

Here is what I am trying to do, I have set up accounts on social media, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. I also have created a website through wordpress www.myvettura.com, www.facebook.com/myvettura, Twitter and Instagram @myvettura. As well on YouTube. I am working on having reviews on Facebook.

My goal is to put value in customers needs, educate them and make it fun for both parties. The main reason I have created the websites and social media is to be known, to network so customers know me whether through testimonials, reputation or have seen my work before they were even in the market. When the time comes for them they are to count on me. To make it easy for them to decide on just the car as they have their sales consultant.

1) How can I reach my market, clients who don't know about me but searching models I sell in my region? What is the best way to do this?

2) I don't want to have inventory on my website, my plate is already full, I am surprised I am not burned out, but should I have all Lexus models on my website, small details, images, videos and call action on the bottom? Or not a good idea?

3) Last question, I would appreciate suggestions on the front page for what I am trying to do, can't decide on anything, a video? An image as I have?

I understand that I am putting my information on here, other sales consultants could copy it or what not, but if they are able to put the effort I am able to do on a daily basis then by all means I am even willing to support them for what I know, happy to help too.

I would appreciate any feedback that can help me cut time and give me advise on what works and what doesn't. I can take criticism, hold nothing back.

Thank you in advance.

Mar, thanks for posting and joining the community. Before I get into my recommendations, I need to ask... Why call it myveturra? I get where you're going with it but it's not memorable. At least not here in the states.

I wound HIGHLY recommend something that brands YOU! Something with your name. Maybe you have a nickname?

ReviewMarRoble.com
MarRoble.com (not a common name)
MarsCars.com

No one is going to remember myveturra.

So that's the first thing I would do.

Jeff,

Thank you for the response. Myvettura as in mycar.com except mycar.com is sold.

I have considered that and have domain similar to that.

If myvettura gets big assuming goals are reached, I don't have to restart like I would do with branding only me. Yes, it will not be known in the beginning but then marscars.com for example will have to go the same marketing as well since I am not known either.

You have a great point. I may have to go back to starting over again, it will still help me with the concerns I have now even after changing the domain. Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you again Jeff.

Agreed, you're going to have to do better than that in terms of your branding. You don't have to have your name in the domain name to rank, come up with something unique and remarkable (in that others will talk about it).

Alexander Lau,

Thank you for the feedback and the link which is awesome.

I have been trying to get unique domains and I have been on this road before and almost all of the nice domains that are marketable were taken but I will continue to search. I do have my name as well as my name and cars dot com if all else fails.

Thanks,
Mar Roble

You're welcome!

@Mar Roble allow me to clarify... This is a personal website that you'll use to market yourself correct? Market and brand yourself as the go to guy to purchase a Lexus from or potentially a different make down the road if you would so leave that dealer for another (not uncommon).

Jeff,

That is correct. I can't market the dealership or the Lexus brand.
