Equifax is a publicly traded global data, analytics, and technology company (NYSE: EFX) that provides credit bureau, identity verification, and data-driven risk solutions to car dealerships, auto lenders, and OEMs. For dealers specifically, Equifax supplies consumer credit reports, income and employment verification via The Work Number database, and its recently launched Employment Insights solutions to streamline auto loan prequalification and financing decisions. Its tools help dealers verify buyer affordability, manage credit and fraud risk, and accelerate the deal process from online lead to showroom close.
