H Greg Auto Auction's South Florida Location is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their rapidly growing team! The Marketing Manager studies the dealership's customer base and the automotive retail market in the area to develop effective programs for soliciting business. This person will establish goals to ensure market share and profitability of products & services and will plan & direct the dealership's advertising and promotional activities. The Marketing Manager will also be responsible for developing and executing monthly and annual marketing budgets. He / She will also act as a liaison with the news media.
Education or Training – Four year college degree in business administration or marketing preferred.
Domination of the Spanish Language preferred.
Marketing Manager Duties:
Develops detailed marketing strategies for the dealership
Handles day to day marketing functions
Plans and implements special events
Oversees public relations campaigns
Determine the demand for cars and services offered by the dealership and its competitors
Identify potential markets for their cars
Monitor car-buying trends
Special Skills and Personality Traits:
High Level of Creativity
Strong Written, Oral, and Computer Skills
New Media & Interactive Marketing Skills
Pleasant/Outgoing Personality
Marketing Managers in motor vehicle dealerships work longer hours than do those in most other industries. Long hours, including evenings and weekends, are common, since we provide evening and weekend service to satisfy consumers. Working under pressure is unavoidable when schedules change and problems arise, but deadlines and goals must still be met.
