Look at the big ol' '59 chevy completely crush the occupant. The front bench seat goes flyin, the windshield goes flyin, its just a demonstration of how amazing technology is.

It's also a demonstration of how little design effort was put into crashworthiness back then... that particular Bel Air has an X frame and has little side rigidity around the passenger compartment.

That's amazing! I'd rather be in the Malibu. That's a good video for every Chevy dealer to have ready for deployment. I'd include that video in part of my follow-up campaign to any potential Malibu customers.

I'm with ya Art, Cars back then rarely made it past 60k miles. Computer technology has for ever changed the design process.

It's impressive for sure Jerry, but, it's rather unsettling to watch. I almost showed my wife, but shes been in a few minor accidents, she'd get wide eyed with cold sweats and miss the amazing technical display
