Hmmm.. you sure this doesn't belong in a conspiracy theory thread? 
I have not heard such things, but it wouldn't surprise me. The boneheads in auto probably pissed their service away as worthless (meanwhile, it's always an internal issue with the increase of closing rates at a dealership and generally not the tool itself) and they had enough of the turnover. Time to move on to smarter, more appreciative pastures.

They are - or at least that is what I read from the Head of Auto for Conversica mentioned on LinkedIN a few weeks back after their entire team was laid off.
