A rumor is floating around that Conversica is moving away from the car business. Anyone else heard that?
A dealer raises rumors that Conversica, an automotive AI lead management tool, is exiting the car industry. Kevin Kulma confirms the rumor by citing a LinkedIn post from Conversica's Head of Auto indicating the entire automotive team was laid off, while Alexander Lau suggests the exodus stems from dealer underutilization of the platform rather than tool failure, and questions whether the company is fully committing to or abandoning the sector.
There's a greater reason than just the Wuhan Flu, see aforementioned statement. *cough. What does... "if new dealers want to sign up mean?" Are you in or are you out? You can't have one foot in and one out.. HUH???They are - or at least that is what I read from the Head of Auto for Conversica mentioned on LinkedIN a few weeks back after their entire team was laid off. View attachment 4841
