Coronavirus Dealer Relief - TrueCar just cut our rates by half for April. Who's next?

Driverbase waives 100% of dealer listing fees indefinitely and doubles monthly advertising investment in response to COVID-19
@Dan Jackson, sorry but Driverbase, who wasn't even invoicing yet, or another vendor like Cars4Sale.com cancelling billing isn't going to help cash flow like a 50% cut from a major expense like Cargurus or TrueCar. Someday you'll be there, but don't say "if we can do it, they can" today.

@Alexander Lau are you implying that we have to take that deal? Of the roughly 60 relationships we have with vendors currently, none are in-contract. I would also argue that by continuing to stay on with a vendor, we are agreeing to the original terms of the contract so it is a gift for them to halve their revenue. Your meme is in poor taste and timing. My opinion.

During the early COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, major automotive marketing vendors including TrueCar, CarGurus, Edmunds, and AutoTrader announced 50% billing reductions for April to help dealers manage cash flow hardship. Forum participants praised these moves as necessary competitive gestures, with one key insight emerging: dealers facing immediate cash flow crises would benefit more from direct billing relief than from free trial periods of additional services.
