Gov Breaking Law, Should Pay Interest!

The Cash for clunkers law clearly states that dealers should be paid no later than 10 days after submitting claims.
I think they should pay interest. We have 3.7 million in unpaid claims, or about 10k a day interest at 5%
They should also pay penalties? Like the way the IRS requires us to Pay if we are late.

I like that idea, but somehow think that might be a little tough to get pushed through....you know....don't bite the hand that feeds.

That's the point, the hand is not feeding..

The execution hasn't been perfect. . .but I'm confident they're trying their best.

I agree, next year I think I will pay my taxes on say April 28th or so. What do you think?
