Help with EDMUNDS CARCODE Leads and Admin

AI Summary

A salesperson at a small dealership seeks ways to compete with a coworker who consistently claims Edmunds CarCode leads under the dealership's first-responder setup. The thread explores solutions including switching to round-robin distribution, staying vigilant with phone notifications, and using macros or admin settings to automate responses, with a moderator ultimately suggesting that accessing CarCode's admin panel allows configuration of notifications and assignment rules to address the issue.

I work at a small dealership and so it's literally just me and one other salesperson who is like quickdraw mcgraw on the Edmunds CarCode leads (its setup for the first responder to get the lead) - He obviously doesnt care about me getting any of the leads so I'm wondering if there is a way I can set up an automated response on CarCode so I can get the lead before him. About an hour ago one came in and were obviously both off today, I clicked it the second it came in and of course "This lead has been assigned to (the D-Bag coworker of mine)"

Any thoughts or suggestions?

See if you can get the leads to be round robin vs 1st responder.

Could also live with your phone in your hand, and get the first response.

Have you spoken with the co-worker, to see if he would be more equitable with the lead opportunities?

Do you have access to the admin? If so, you can set up notifications and assignment rules from there.
