I recently created a private party acquisition tool that finds listings instantly when they are posted and assigns market value pushing the best deals to the user.

Currently it collects all private party listings in real time from Facebook marketplace, Autotrader cars.com and craigslist.

I run a automotive wholesale operation and have used it to source about 85% of my inventory over the last 18 months.

Looking for 5-10 dealers who want to be on the Beta and give me some feedback in exchange for using the software.

My website is Backlist.io

Hey Bennett - I am definitely interested in giving this a try. I use Kaihive currently - have used swoopa in the past. We buy 30-60 a month private party, mostly from FB marketplace.

I was working on a tool to augment this that considers my previous inventory recon costs and days on lot avg info, as well as color and feature parity to give a buy rating. I switched gears on that because I was running into FB bans pretty quickly.

Let's chat about this sometime!

✨ AI Highlights

  • A developer running an automotive wholesale operation is recruiting 5-10 dealers to beta test **Backlist.io**, a real-time private party acquisition tool that aggregates listings from Facebook Marketplace, Autotrader, Cars.com, and Craigslist and surfaces the best deals by market value.
  • Early responders showed genuine interest, with one dealer noting he buys 30-60 units monthly via private party channels and had attempted to build a similar tool himself before hitting Facebook ban issues.
  • The key open questions from the thread center on data quality and deduplication across platforms, with one respondent and a Canadian dealer also raising geographic scope as an unknown.
