I spend most of the time on the forums and will often miss some really good topics on the main page. You might have something at the top of the forum page that alerts me to something new there.

Look at the blue line at the top of the page. Click on "My Refresh". Instead of clicking on the title of the thread, click the green arrow to the right. That will take you to the last post on the thread.

Jerry, you'll see where I asked a few times for some screen shots so I know exactly what you are referring to. Being an admin, I see and navigate the forums differently.

As Doug point out - you still have this feature (I'm still looking for a way to get this back to the way you mentioned and are used to), but you need to adjust what you are clicking on.

I know how to get to the last page without clicking through each page. The point is I shouldn't have to if I am logged into the forum when I arrive on the thread with a new post.

I am always amazed to see the number of visitors, in relation to members, on the site. It is always at least 10:1. Have you ever considered making the forum section available to members only?

I think alot of the "visitors" are actually members who didn't take the time to log in. Guilty.

Number of visitors compared to number of people in the car business is tiny,
Number of visitors compared to number of people writing is tiny.

This industry just wants to have a good week end, then sober up from Monday to Thursday and repeat. Learning and improving is a trade of the few.
