So I'm sitting here reflecting on the digital dealer conference and started thinking, "I wish there was some good relevant reading out there". I know of the basic car guy books, but does anyone have any suggested reading for one in the world of automotive Internet management?

+1 on the DealerRefresh Forums. Start out with Velocity 2.0 and then buy every book that Amazon relates to it! lol.

Then after that, buy a bunch of relaxation and stress books. You'll need them after popping the ideas to your GM! Well, hopefully not. Just preparing you for the worst!

Yeah, I missed the last post, sorry for the repetition. I guess I felt like as fast as things change it wasn't a topic I thought would have historic relevance. There's a bunch of good stuff in there, and I would assume nothing new has been written in the last couple years that's worth reading, so we'll just leave it at that...

I haven't found many industry specific books. Maybe a few of us should write one.

"Velocity" and it's sequel "Velocity 2.0" are really good.

"The Giving Tree" helps me for some reason. It puts a lot of this business in perspective.

Blog wise, Other than DR, for Sales and Sales management stuff, I really like:

It's not Auto industry specific, but over 75% of the articles still apply to us. The site/company is based out of the UK.
