We've tried other DMS, but Auto/Mate works great for us. Affordable, very small integration fees, excellent support, and upgrades to the core DMS are no charge.

We've been on DealerSocket's Blackbird for a while now, and it's working well. Getting started had some hiccups but support has improved greatly since last year. The interface and speed have improved and our staff like the customizable home page.

Our dealergroup moved from Reynolds CRM to Dealersocket. There is some serious prep necessary to preserve your data and notes from Reynolds out to Socket. Reynolds has contracted limits to how many of years of data that they will provide to outside vendors on past deals. Use Dealervault to download all your client data tables from your DMS and/or your current CRM before switching and you can avoid many issues.

✨ AI Highlights

A dealer exploring integrated DMS/CRM solutions from Reynolds asks the community whether to use Reynolds' native Contact Management system or pair Reynolds DMS with third-party CRMs like DealerSocket, VinSolutions, or Oplogic. The thread strongly warns against DealerSocket (citing data integrity issues and customer file problems) while presenting mixed views on Reynolds CM itself—some found it outdated and painful to implement, though others defend it as functional with proper staff buy-in. The consensus emphasizes that no CRM is perfect and the best choice depends on the dealer's specific processes, BDC structure, and which vendor offers flexibility without long-term contract lock-in.
