I was just wondering if anyone else is receiving spam through GM Lead Management? I have recieved two today for SEO on Google. This is the first time I have received any spam through GM. Maybe I am doing something right and we are more visible...lol

I've received many leads in triplicate, but no spam.. Trick is, you have to "respond" to everything. even doubles and triples. GM says they don't track that, but on the monthly numbers it shows up if you blow off the doubles.

I was under the impression that if you have a duplicate lead and you respond to one it automatically updates both leads is this not the case?

Depending on your CRM/ILM software. This would have to be done on your software's side, and it would have to actively tell GM that you responded to both even though you only responded to one. My software is 1 to 1, so my internet managers have to respond to everything.

I actually use the GM Lead Management tool in Dealerworld. I go there and change the status to in progress than I add them to my dealer.com leads. I know this is the long way but our store is in the stone ages when it comes to CRM/ILM's.
