I recently convinced the owner of my company to start a B2B sales program. I will be selling used tires (with a B2B discount) directly to companies across the lower 48 - hopefully utilizing our website to stream line sales and shipping directly to my customers.
Where I need the help: I will only get commission from "new accounts" - so I need to contact fresh B2B customers to make any money. What is the best way for me to "cold" contact people in our industry so that I actually get the correct person's attention and also have the best chance to acquire new customers? Email? direct phone calls? Should I only try on certain days of the week, or time of day? I'm hoping to reach anyone that might potentially order used tires on a semi-regular basis. Used car dealers, Large Mechanic's shops, fleet owners, delivery companies, etc... Can anyone suggest the best way to utilize my time seeing as this is a straight commission position?
I would greatly appreciate any help!

. It has a bunch of samples of dealership campaigns in it. It definitely caught my attention. We don't do direct mail campaign events but, if or when we do decide to do one, these folks are gonna be at the top of my list!!! How hard would it be for you to box up a tire (even a cheap tire) and send it out? I don't know. You may want to look into it though. Just an idea.
