Avoid DIY epoxy. Turning the tires of a stationary vehicle over the epoxy rips it from the cement. See if you can stain it or acid wash it to "blur" the stains you have now. Large diamond plate rubber mats are a solution, but, you don't have the budget for it.

If you decide to go with curtains you don't need to build a frame! Use a steel wire from corner to corner and hang the curtains on it.

Clean, simple. Very nice! Doesn't have to be extravagant or high-tech to work. Sometimes the right tool is a simple screwdriver -- know what I mean?
