Configuring Autoresponder When Reply-to Is Not Correct

When I get leads in my inbox, the reply-to address is always a standard "do not reply" address. Is there any way to auto-populate the reply-to address so that way it gets sent automatically, say if I receive a lead while I am asleep?

Right now my auto-responder is essentially just a pre-fabricated form...I'd rather it actually perform the function of responding automatically.

Leads should be coming in the ADF XML format and the customer's email address for the lead is in that XML message. It isn't the replyto on the email that contains the ADF XML message. So auto responders from your CRM should be working fine because they parse out that XML message. I would think that ADP's CRM can do auto responders.

Yes, ADP CRM can handle inbound ADF/XML formatted leads and send autoresponders back. My suggestion is to at least use this part of ADP CRM and then have the lead continue to go to your GMail account too. Then you don't have to worry about the autoresponders (just make sure the replyto address in the autoresponders forwards to your GMail) and you can continue to not use that CRM.

That brings me to another point. I am a huge advocate of CRM - arguably one of the biggest in the industry. I can't stand to tell anyone not to use a CRM, but I am sympathetic to your situation as I was in it myself a few years ago. However, I used an external ILM to compensate. Are you aware of what other products are available on the CRM market?

Our CRM = lifeblood.

Simply put, I am just not sure how to configure ADP to comprehend the following instructions:

Say we have a lead...

CUSTOMER:
Name: XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX
Email: xxxxx@yahoo.com
Phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx
Address: XXXXX

I want the auto-responder to:

1. Extract last name and put a Mr. or Ms. in front of it depending on the customer's expected gender, given his/her first name.
2. Extract e-mail address and set it as the reply-to address.
3. Populate the e-mail with my auto-text and send it.

It seems to me like this kind of detail would require some scripting know-how, but if ADP can somehow handle that, that'd be great...
