Assuming that you're responsible for about 15 cars getting sold each month, I'm guessing you're making closer to 25K/yr not 30. The problem you have is that you're both doing the job already. The GM at your store believes that is what you should make. I would never do what you're doing for that kind of money, but you'll have a hard time convincing the GM that he should pay you another 10K/yr (which is what I think you should be making) to do the same job that you've been doing for however long you've been doing it. Before you go heading to abc motors for a better paying job, make sure that your production is worth the money you want to make. How many leads are you reponsible for in a month? How many of those leads are turning into appointments? How many of those appontments are showing?
Eric makes a good point too. Is there a BDC manager or not? I'm assuming not, since the two of you are doing all the admin work. If your numbers are good you should be able to make a lot more somewhere else, or at least make the same and do a lot less.
