I'm at a Ford dealership now.........NO CRM!!

Well, I shouldn't say that.......I do have my notepad.......;)......is this common with Ford dealerships??........I'm thinking of printing up my own follow-up sheets. What's the best follow-up schedule? 1 day, 3 day, 5 day, 7 day?.....every day??

No, it's not common. You do have free access to SalesPoint CRM via your FMCDEALER login. It's just ReyRey and it's pretty terrible but it's better than nothing.

No, that is not typical. When I first started at a Ford Dealer they didn't have a CRM but got one within a year. We did have an ILM which was Icarmagic but tracking my deals was tougher as the internet sales manager as opposed to everyone being on the same CRM. Sometimes my appointment would show and a salesperson either wouldn't know or wouldn't tell me. I didn't find out until the deal was done and I would see it at the end of the day in the finance screen.

I was paid on appointments as well as sales and quite often a husband would submit a lead and maybe the car would go in wife's name or vice versa. I'm sure I missed quite a few not having a shared CRM.

I try 2 to 3 calls a day (including a text message) on the 1st day -@ different times, then one a day for the first week until I contact and/or set an appointment.

I was just going to post a question about this. Good ol' search button. I posted a topic awhile ago about a lingering threat from my dealership overhead regarding cutting our CRM (ReyRey CM). I too am at a Ford store. I've never used salespoint but was told it is identical to Contact Management.

How true is that statement? It is free after all and I wouldn't exactly call CM a good value compared to the other options on the market.

Yes, that is correct. It is 100% identical.
