No more IMG tag on Craigslist

We have been contacted by several posting companies that employ the "phone barn" mentality. They charge you .50 per ad that actually goes up in a market. Has anyone used this type of company before? We post in multiple markets so it is a hassle to try to keep 120-150 vehicles up at any given time.

.50c is cheap for how long it takes to upload the images to CL (before you could drop an HTML code with links and done)

Eric,

Game changed on how it needs to be done but CL still works to sell cars in the right areas of the U.S.

Ah, ignore my last post (actually already deleted it) -- I was replying to somebody name 'Craigslist Pro' that didn't have any other prior posts promoting his product. Though I 100% agree. Craigslist can be the number one lead provider by a landslide if done correctly.

I am not promoting any product. I am offering a service and a long term solution to the Craigslist headaches. I can post up to 96 vehicles per day (1 every 15 mins) 24 hours per day.

My services aren't cheap because I have a lot of overhead to offer my services. Some things to consider are:

1) No more Craigslist hassles like phone verifications, ad ghosting, dealing with Spam.

2) You don't even need a Craigslist account!

3) My customer maintains their website and I extract the new inventory daily and post 96 vehicles daily in the targeted market area(s).

4) I weed out the Spam and forward all sales leads daily.

5) Most Craigslist posting or auto posting services are no longer working on Craigslist, these companies aren't keeping up with the technical changes Craigslist makes. You should know that Craigslist makes technical changes to their site at least once or twice per month. Most of these changes aren't visible to the average user though.

6) Craigslist is a very effective sales tool here in the Chicago area-Almost every dealer friend I know uses Craigslist and report anywhere from 18% to 55% of their monthly sales come from Craigslist.

I will only be accepting a few clients this year but may expand in 2014.

I am not promoting any product. ........My services aren't cheap.

Do you see the irony of this?

This is precisely the reason why the DealerRefresh moderating team believed your first post ever on these forums was strictly for solicitation purposes. Simply stated, you advertised a service. Unless you've done a fair amount (determined by moderation team) of contributing to the well-being of the DealerRefresh community we have a very low tolerance for advertising. These rules may help to clarify things better: http://forum.dealerrefresh.com/f43/...engine-optimization-sem-support-rules-31.html

DealerRefresh is a free service solely intended to help the automotive industry move forward. Another goal is to make sure DealerRefresh is not polluted by solicitations and a bunch of vendors just blowing their loads all over each other all day (sorry if that's kind of graphic, but that's how I look at some other forums/blogs out there). For the record, your post was also reported for solicitation/spam by a few community members as well.

Anyway, I hope this helps you to better understand our position and appreciate that we're here to help; not here to sell.
