Job Description
The Digital Marketing Consultant will be responsible for selling to franchise and independent automotive dealers. The consultant will focus on generating platform management fees revenue through selling, based on specific initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
● Meet and/or exceed daily, weekly and monthly goals for calls, demonstrations and closing of new business
● Consistent cold-calling on franchise and independent automotive dealership management personnel
● Manage and overcome prospect objections in order to secure qualified meetings and close the sale
● Provide support to the customer throughout sales process
● Work with Manager to understand, meet and exceed goals and objectives
● Execute action plans with Manager based on daily, weekly and monthly analysis of all performance metrics
● Execute the sales, transition and service strategy for each prospect
● Uncover needs of potential customers and present products and solutions
● Maintain strong product knowledge on all assigned products and solutions
● Participate in sales team meetings as required
● Complete documentation, as outlined in the sales process, within the CRM
● Utilize CRM to accurately and effectively track activity, and update lead, opportunity information and account information
● Ensure that weekly and monthly reports (sales pipeline, target account development) are satisfactorily completed in a timely fashion
● Proactively communicate account and sales information to both sales management and sales team
● Communicate with management about obstacles and challenges with dealers and processes
Requirements
Education and Experience:
● High School Diploma or equivalent is required; College Degree preferred
● Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in the automotive industry
Abilities and Skills:
● Proven experience, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining focused on many details is required
● Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel,) and virtual demonstration software and communication tools required
● Experience in a customer focused, account management, revenue driven environment required
● Proven experience and ability to build and maintain cross-departmental, multi-functional and collaborative relationships required
● Demonstrated communication skills (written, verbal, phone, and interpersonal) skills required
● Proven experience and ability to analyze customer problems and trends to offer suggestions and recommendations for improvement and success required
