Jeff, why are you posting this?

Because I'm a fan of direct mail. Especially very effective direct mail for dealers. <-- affiliate link to a company that I work very close with.

Any dealers that incorporate direct mail within their marketing mix might want to know about the recent changes happening with USPS. What to watch out for and how it could change your direct mail process, either in-house or knowing what going on when you outsource it.

Internet Retailer is hosting a free webinar around these changes...

It might provide some decent information for us...

On January 22nd, 2012, the U.S. Postal Service® implemented new postal pricing and features for competitive and market dominant services including Priority Mail®, Express Mail®, International mail classes and First-Class Mail®. To help you understand what these changes mean for you and your business, DYMO Endicia will host a one-hour educational webinar. You will learn about the USPS changes for 2012, including pricing changes and new products and services. We will also be covering the latest additions surrounding the use of the IMpb (Intelligent Mail Package Barcode) including how it will now enable you to get free delivery confirmation on certain mail classes. We will also explain how the USPS can help retailers address two of the big trends of the 2011 holiday season, more free shipping offers and e-retailers delivering closer to Christmas than ever.
