What would you do with a new 1989 Corvette with 67 miles?

Saw this story about a 1989 Corvette that was stolen, and then put into storage for 20 years before being taken back out. It only had 67 miles on it, and outside of having the tires replaced and the fluids flushed, it had the "new car" smell and was ready to go (and sold for original sticker price)! I would have to share that I have thought about doing this (legally!) myself with a new car, storing it, and pulling it out 25 years later. What car would you store?

New Dodge Challenger. These hit the floor before I left the store. In 16 years, I never remember "visiting" a car like I did with this one. I kept saying, "If I had an extra $50K laying around, I would buy this car and keep it in my garage just to look at it.

Quinn, I got something for that Challenger! ZL1, and it's fast! I'd put one of these away for sure!

Eley -- LOVE IT!

I got to drive that Challenger in a commercial. Local Pro sports team wanted a hot car for a promo with their mascott. Of all of our 15 brands -- I offered the Challenger. I drove the car to the shoot, and no one there could drive a stick!! So I drove for the shoot for the commercial - couldn't get it out of 3rd gear -- on the highway! What a STUD of a car.

As long as I've been in automotive -- I've never considered myself a "car nut." But this one? Oooof... As I'm home alone with the kids tonight, I'm tempted to sell my youngest to get this baby in my garage... Anyone want a loud 2-year old? Almost potty-trained! ;)
