I prefer Carfax personally. I usually get my vehicle history reports from their website. It costs around $40, but it's been reliable and helps me make informed decisions when buying cars. Definitely satisfied!

I feel like Autocheck is more accurate and includes more data, but Carfax seems to have the branding behind it that consumers trust. Honestly, I'd run both. I feel Autocheck is great for purchasing inventory and Carfax is better for your website and other consumer related communications.

One additional thing to consider when deciding between Carfax and AutoCheck is Carfax's Used Car Listings and Carfax for Life product offerings. You can't get either unless you are a Carfax VHR client.
Do the benefits that those two products provide justify the premium Carfax charges? That's up to you to decide.
